Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2024

The Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2024 will see a ‘winner of all winners’ awarded a £5,000 prize to help advance their innovation. 

To celebrate 20 years of delivering business support to the region’s life sciences and medtech businesses, Medilink Midlands is offering a £5k prize to one lucky finalist which will be awarded live on the night. 

With just one week remaining for life sciences businesses in the region to enter, Medilink Midlands is calling for submissions that showcase the very best collaborations between industry, academia, and the NHS in the Midlands and neighbouring regions.  

Melanie Davidson, Chief Executive of Medilink Midlands, says: “It is an incredibly exciting time as we mark Medilink Midlands’ 20th anniversary with a very special awards event that will see us award a £5k prize to our ‘winner of all winners.’ Our annual Business Awards recognise and showcase the fantastic achievements of Midlands life science companies and present the ideal opportunity for businesses to shout about their success.  

“With just one week remaining to enter the awards, we invite all life sciences businesses in the East and West Midlands to enter and be in with the chance of winning our prize. And don’t forget – our regional winners will go forward to the national Medilink UK Business Awards, which celebrate the country’s leading life sciences and medtech companies.” 

The 2024 awards are set to be bigger and better than ever, with nine categories from Start-Up to Outstanding Achievement. New for 2024 is the Sustainability Award which recognises innovation healthcare and environmental responsibility. Sponsored by law firm and Medilink Midlands Patron Mills & Reeve, the new category highlights the growing importance of sustainability in the provision of responsible healthcare.

  • *New for 2024* – Sustainability Award (sponsored by Mills & Reeve)

Applications for the Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2024 will be reviewed by an independent and expert panel of judges. Winners and highly commended companies will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony and black-tie dinner on 9 May 2024 at the Athena, Leicester. Winning organisations from seven of the nine categories will be automatically entered into the Medilink UK National Awards, which will take place on 11 July in London.
