Following a successful visit to BIO 2017, Midlands Engine are taking a delegation of Midlands Biotech companies and academia to BIO International Conference in Boston. We will be showcasing the strength of the Biotech sector in the Midlands region with an exhibition space on the UK Pavilion as well as hosting a Midlands Engine partnering and networking event.

Midlands Engine, in association with The Department for International Trade in Washington, will organise a 1 2 1 meeting schedule with Biotech companies from Maryland who are looking to collaborate with Midlands Biotech organisations and academia. This will be followed by a networking event. The event will be exclusive to Midlands Engine delegates.

Financial Support Available for Eligible Small and Medium Enterprises
Financial support of £500.00 is available for those companies in the Midlands Engine area who meet the required eligibility criteria as detailed on the application form. To secure an offer for financial support, companies should complete and return the application form ASAP. Note: the closing date for applications is Friday 20 April.
TAP Funding
TAP funding of £2000.00 is available against convention access with partnering pass or exhibiting. Note: the number of TAP grants only is limited and subject to eligibility criteria.

Commitment Fee
A commitment fee of £200 + VAT is applicable for each organisation. Any extra delegates from the same organisation wishing to participate will be charged an additional £100 + VAT per delegate. An invoice will be raised for the commitment fee once your application has been approved and emailed to you. This can be paid by BACS transfer once received.
