Farm to Fork: A one health approach to reducing antibiotic resistance.

3 April – The Infectious Disease SIG is the second of a two part interest group initiative and will explore the links between food production and antibiotic resistance in the environment and the impact this can have on health.

Presentations will include:

-Introduction to RUMA (Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture)

-Pigs and One Health: Disease and Antibiotics

-Manipulating the microbiome: a tool for sustainable animal production?

-Cross-disciplinary approaches to tackle antimicrobial resistance in agriculture – are we doing it right?

There are also opportunities to present during the event. The presentation slots are available for SMEs to share their technologies, products and services to the audience. Each presentation will be 5 minutes long. To register your interest please click here.
