WEBINAR: The tax consequences of COVID-19 and The Future Fund

Specifically tailored to small to medium sized businesses in the Life Sciences sector, this webinar alongside Edwards Chartered Accountants will inform you on:

– The tax consequences of COVID, i.e, no change in pay out of R&D tax credits, PAYE arrears don’t appear to be deducted from the R&D, deferral of VAT liabilities
– Extending filing deadlines at Companies House as a result of COVID
– No payments on account required for self-assessment for July 20
– The Future Fund

Speakers: 


Neil Taylor, Director, Edwards Chartered Accountants 

Neil is an experienced business compliance and advisory director with over 30 years’ experience in general practice. Neil’s clients encompass a wide range of industry sectors and, in addition to technology start-ups which is his specialism.

Neil heads up Edwards Technology, research and development team which looks after the needs of the firm’s numerous technology clients. He and his team have helped deliver over £10m in research and development tax credit refunds for clients over the past year.


Andrew Palmer, R&D Tax and Accounts Manager

Andy joined Edwards in 2014 and specialises in assisting science and technology companies which are involved in R&D.  Andy is also involved with completion of grant audit assignments and SEIS/EIS compliance which are a regular requirement for new companies raising finance.
