This webinar tells the story of how PPE regulation was relaxed to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and the practical and personal experiences of becoming a manufacturer of protective face shields for local NHS trusts and nursing homes.

Professor Donal McNally, Professor of Biomechanics, The University of Nottingham
Donal is Professor of Biomechanics and heads the Bioengineering Research Group at the University of Nottingham. His primary research interest is in spinal biomechanics and soft tissue biomechanics and he has been involved in the development of spinal implants, safety legislation and other healthcare devices. Donal is Deputy Director of the Centre for Healthcare Technologies.
