WEBINAR: Surviving the times – utilising your IP & related assets

Specifically tailored to the Life Sciences Industry this webinar with Shakespeare Martineau will provide insights on how to utilise your IP and related assets during this difficult time for businesses.

More specifically the webinar will cover:

– Brief introduction – what the term “intangible assets” covers by way of intellectual property and related rights (IPRs)
– Commercial exploitation of IPRs
– Determining the content of a business’ IPR portfolio
– Who owns the IPRs created by an employee in the course of his/her employment?
– Who owns the IPRs created by an external consultant or any other third party?
– Types of commercial exploitation in relation to IPRs capable of commercial exploitation
– Assignment including consideration of the main terms that tend to be included in any IPR assignment
– Licensing/sub-licensing
– Securitisation including discussion of the key issues to consider in taking security over IPRs and the nature of the main security interests taken
– Joint ventures including discussion of the key elements to consider in any joint venture project involving IPRs

This free to attend webinar will be held as part of the SoLSTICE programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
