WEBINAR: The Nottingham Recovery from COVID-19 Research Platform (NoRCoRP) – Developing New Approaches to Treatment

Researchers in Nottingham have launched a new study platform for the next generation of COVID-19 clinical research: The Nottingham Recovery from COVID-19 Research Platform (NoRCoRP).

The platform will bring together projects examining the impacts and lasting effects of COVID-19, translating findings from patients who are known to have contracted the virus into new approaches to treatment to support their recovery. – Existing treatment strategies
– Review of Nottingham portfolio of existing clinical trial and planned clinical studies in patients with COVID-19

– Opportunities for engagement with the NIHR Nottingham BRC for COVID related work

This event is classed as State Aid to participating businesses, the value of which is £190, but is delivered completely free of charge to participants.

Speaker Profile:


Professor Ian Hall, Director, NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre 
Professor Ian is the Director of the NIHR Nottingham, Biomedical Research Centre. He is a chest physician based at NUH NHS Trust and the University of Nottingham, and has a long track record of research into the mechanisms underlying the development of a range of lung diseases. He currently chairs the national BRC Director’s forum, sits on NIHR Strategy Board, and is a member of UK-CTAP.
