The new year has signified many changes for the Grant Funding landscape, most notably, the EU Funding opportunities available to UK businesses.

2021 also brings with it a new financial year for R&D Tax Relief claims, as well as new R&D Tax legislation that will come into effect on 1st April 2021.

Speaker Profiles:

Matt Symonds, Managing Director, TBAT Innovation Ltd
Matt joined TBAT Innovation in 2007 and shortly after became a Director of the business. Since, he has assisted many organisations large and small across a variety of sectors to access UK and EU grant funding to further enable innovation. He has a mechanical engineering degree and is an experienced project manager as a result of ten years’ experience in the Aerospace, Power Generation and Rail sectors with companies like Rolls-Royce and Bombardier Transportation.

 

Sam Stephens, Director, TBAT Innovation Ltd
Sam founded TBAT in 2002. As a founding Director of the business, Sam heads up the R&D Tax Credit team. He began his career at Rolls-Royce Aerospace as a graduate and manufacturing engineer and has continued that passion about engineering, innovation and new technology throughout his career and personal life.
