An Engagement Event for SMEs Delivered by University Hospitals Birmingham NHSFT in Partnership with DEMAND-Hub
DEMAND Hub (Data-Enabled Medical technologies AND Devices Hub) is an ERDF-supported programme for the Black Country, Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Coventry & Warwickshire, and Stoke-On-Trent & Staffordshire LEP regions.
The support offered by University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) has a particular focus to navigate the complex and changing landscape of health data use which can influence business and clinical decisions. UHB has a number of pathways and systems to provide licensed access to health data and consultancy. This includes two HDR-UK Hubs: PIONEER and INSIGHT. These Hubs have specific areas of expertise, from acute care (PIONEER) to eye-health (INSIGHT). UHB can also provide grant application guidance, regulatory support, clinical evaluation, and public and patient involvement consultancy.
The virtual engagement event will give SME’s access to credible experts and facilitate collaboration from across the NHS, academia and our partners. It will bring together expertise and best practice to assist SME’s in developing and bringing their product to market.
