Applications are now open for Medilink Midlands’ Business Awards which will once again celebrate the work and achievements of life sciences companies across the Midlands.

With nine categories from Start-Up to Outstanding Achievement, the 2024 awards are set to be bigger and better than ever and will highlight some of the best and brightest life sciences businesses in the region. New for 2024 is the Sustainability Award which recognises innovation healthcare and environmental responsibility. Sponsored by law firm and Medilink Midlands Patron Mills & Reeve, the new category highlights the growing importance of sustainability in the provision of responsible healthcare.

“We are delighted to kick off our 20th anniversary year with the launch of our 2024 Business Awards which feature nine exciting categories, including our brand-new Sustainability Award.” says Melanie Davidson, Chief Executive of Medilink Midlands.

“The prestigious event will once again shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievements and innovations of life sciences companies across the region. We have seen how winning these accolades can help propel businesses on their growth and development journeys and strongly encourage life sciences companies of all sizes to apply and get their talent recognised.”

Last year’s worthy winners included Midlands organisations iethico, Joint Rehab Approach Ltd, NuVision Biotherapies Ltd, BlueSkeye AI, BPR Medical, Redditch Medical, Spirit Health, Upperton Pharma Solutions, Aston University’s College of Health and Life Sciences’ Optometry & Vision Science Research Group, Bioxhale Ltd, JointMedica, The Tribe Project, and InoCardia Ltd.

Applications for the 2024 awards will be reviewed by an independent and expert panel of judges. Winners and highly commended companies will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony and black-tie dinner on 9 May 2024 at the Athena, Leicester.

Winning organisations from seven of the nine categories will be automatically entered into the Medilink UK National Awards, which will take place on 11th July in London.
