Medilink Midlands has been shortlisted for three awards recognising the achievements of women in business across the East Midlands.

The senior leadership team has been shortlisted in the following categories of the Enterprising Women Awards for their continual delivery of several successful projects and initiatives for medtech and life sciences organisations across the country:

  • Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Celebrating business leaders who demonstrate remarkable leadership, innovative thinking, and an ability to overcome challenges.
  • Small Business of the Year – Recognising a thriving small business with less than 50 employees, led by visionary women.

Run by business representation organisation East Midlands Chamber, the Enterprising Women Awards celebrate contributions made by women in business working across Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

Melanie Davidson, CEO at Medilink Midlands, said: “On behalf of the team at Medilink Midlands, we are delighted to receive the nominations at the Enterprising Women Awards 2024.

“It is fantastic to have our work recognised through awards which are championing businesswomen across sectors, and I’m looking forward to celebrating our achievements at the ceremony later this year.”

Enterprising Women Co-Chair and Co-Founder Jean Mountain said: “Year in, year out, over the years these awards have been phenomenal. We’ve been doing these awards for around 15 years now and the standard of entries gets higher and higher each year.  We set the bar really high, and you see it with the fabulous names of finalists that come through and the companies they represent.”

The winners of the Enterprising Women Awards 2024 will be announced at a ceremony taking place on 20th September at Winstanley House in Leicester.
