HIEM Innovation Academy – Live Q&A – Module J: Navigating NHS Procurement and Supply Chain

Tuesday 31 October 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am GMT

The HIEM Innovation Academy is delivered in partnership with Medilink Midlands and Health Innovation East Midlands (formerly the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network – EMAHSN) and it’s free to register.

CLICK HERE to register for the Academy, access all content and additional resources, and to find out how it can support teams (from the health, care, private or voluntary sectors) to develop their propositions to improve patient care.

The Academy is open to anyone to register. Once registered, participants will have access to ten modules, each including a on-demand webinar and a follow-up live Q&A session, scheduled throughout the year. This model allows you to watch the material whenever is most convenient for you, as well as providing an opportunity to pose all of your questions to the experts.

Our final Live Q&A session of the year focuses on the material covered in Module J: Navigating NHS Procurement and Supply Chain. For this module, we welcome guest presenters (Fay Allen, Innovation Specialist, NHS Supply Chain) and Natasha Brown (Deputy Head of Procurement, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust).

The session provides a high-level introduction to these complex processes, offering an insight into how decision makers reach their verdicts on whether a product is viable for adoption into the NHS, how the procurement and supply chain processes work, and expert advice on how to maximise the possibility of your innovation meeting the required criteria and standards for adoption.

For the live Q&A session, we’ll be joined by Fay Allen as well as Marc Naughton, Clinical Engagement & Implementation Manager – NHS Supply Chain. This really is an unmissable opportunity to put your questions to those directly involved in decision making!

Online – GoToMeeting
