Colleagues within the University of Nottingham have been developed an innovation technology which is the first digital therapy for young people with tics. This exciting event will offer commissioners a unique opportunity to learn about ORBIT, the first digital therapy for young people with tics to be recommended by NICE (National Institute of Healthcare Excellence). ORBIT represents a groundbreaking step forward in digital mental health, designed to provide accessible and effective care for tic disorders.
What to expect:
- Learn more about ORBIT: Discover the research behind this digital innovation. We will share key findings from our studies and discuss the ongoing plan to further strengthen the evidence required as part of the NICE approval process.
- Share expertise: Join open discussions to share your experiences around commissioning digital mental health products. Help us identify the challenges, barriers, and opportunities in adopting novel interventions like ORBIT within the NHS and beyond.
- Explore commissioning opportunities: Understand how ORBIT can be integrated into your services to enhance care pathways for young people.
- Discuss cost-effectiveness and NHS implementation: Hear about our findings related to the economic impact and cost-effectiveness of ORBIT and engage in conversations about ‘willingness-to-pay’ thresholds and funding models. Have your say about what is a realistic funding model for services to deliver ORBIT.
- Network with industry peers: Connect with commissioners, decision-makers, and experts from across the country to exchange ideas, insights, and best practice.
Delegates can enjoy a hot lunch, as well as complimentary refreshments which will be offered throughout the day. In addition, any travel costs will be reimbursed and accommodation provided if required.
