In this Medilink Midlands webinar, the Office for Life Sciences, the Government’s specialist team covering the sector, are eager to hear the views of Life Sciences businesses on what more the Government can do to support the growth and advancement of the sector.
In this session, the Office for Life Sciences will present on current Government policy in relation to the Life Science sector, and outline the Government’s future plans for the sector. OLS are also very keen to hear from individuals and firms in the sector about what more the Government can do to support the sector.
The insights gained from this webinar will be fed back to Government Ministers and inform future Government policy making in relation to the Life Sciences.

Alex Mclaughlin, Head of International Trade and Medical Device Regulation, Office for Life Sciences
Alex is responsible for all of OLS’s work on International Trade and Medical Device Regulation, advising Ministers in the Business and Health Departments.
Prior to his current role, Alex was Senior Private Secretary to two Health Ministers, established the Department’s epidemic vaccines programme, and worked for the Chief Medical Officer.
