Public Sector organisations to benefit from maximum commercial value in procuring Spirit Digital’s CliniTouch Vie digital remote monitoring platform

Spirit Digital, part of the Spirit Health Group family of companies, is pleased to announce it has been named a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Spark Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for new and emerging technology products.

Through Spark DPS, public sector organisations will be readily able to benefit from Spirit Digital’s proprietary digital health platform, CliniTouch Vie, designed to keep patients with long-term conditions out of hospital and reduce the frequency with which clinicians need to make home visits to these patients.

Through its commercial expertise, the CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, the CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

By working with organisations and bodies such as the CCS, Spirit Digital is advancing its mission to make health easy for service providers and patients through its innovative digital health solutions.

CliniTouch Vie is an app-based, CE-marked medical device that enables patients to learn about their condition and monitor themselves at home, improving lives and health outcomes. Dynamic monitoring via quantitative biometric data inputs, coupled to self-reported health and wellbeing scores combines to give a rich data set. CliniTouch Vie connects remote healthcare teams to patients through secure in-built messaging, video consultations and reporting systems, helping clinicians decide who needs their care first and enabling them to effectively prioritise their workload based on intelligent triaging algorithms.

CliniTouch Vie is a scalable solution that can be used by thousands of patients across health systems, including:

  • Patients with any long-term conditions, including those with co-morbidities
  • Care home residents
  • Patients discharged from hospital urgently / early
  • Post-operative monitoring
  • Virtual community wards.

Simon Applebaum, Managing Director, Spirit Digital, comments: “We are pleased to have been named a supplier on the CCS’ Spark DPS. It is currently more important than ever that public sector care organisations have easy and cost-effective access to digital solutions that can keep patients safe and maximise clinical resource. Spirit’s aim is to make health easy and accessible; this relationship is one step forward on our journey to achieve this.”
